First Lady Promotes School Nutrition
First Lady Obama praised the efforts and achievements of the nation’s school nutrition professionals stating that “...most people don’t know the cafeteria is one of the most important classrooms in the school.”
Teaching kids to cook
In an effort to combat childhood obesity Somerville MA is getting the magazine Chop Chop in the hands of elementary students. The hope is to raise awareness and promote healthy eating habits by teaching kids how to eat healthy, and to have fun with cooking.
